Prescriptions and supply of medicines

We can supply medicines to treat our patients or you may ask for a prescription for prescription only medicines (POM-Vs) and obtain these medicines from another Veterinary Surgeon or pharmacy.

A written prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an inpatient or in need of immediate treatment.

You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medicine that may be prescribed for your pet.

Repeat prescriptions

The policy of The Cromwell Veterinary Group is to reassess animals requiring repeat prescriptions every six months or at shorter intervals if, in the opinion of the Veterinary Surgeon, the condition should warrant this.

Please note that 24hrs notice is required for a repeat prescription.
