   *** Myxomatosis - we are seeing a large increase in the number of infected rabbits throughout the year - the disease is nearly always fatal. A vaccination is available which provides a good degree of protection. The disease is spread by mosquitoes and other biting insects. Recent recommendations suggest that it is safer to vaccinate every 6 months, rather than rely on an annual vaccination.

***NEW***  - "CVG Rabbit Annual Healthcare Plan" - Annual cost of £60 (saving ~£27) - includes: 6mthly vaccination against myxomatosis, annual vaccination against Haemorrhagic Viral Disease, 2x Panacur worming syringes, 1x Rearguard protection against  "Fly Strike", 6mthly vet check (including dental check) at vaccination, 2 nurse appointments for a health check & nail clip.

*** New Product - Stress-free worming for cats. No need for tablets or disguising in food. There is now available a new "spot-on" for cats, effective against both round and tape worms. Ask at reception for more details.

***Wood Green Animal Shelter - Cromwell Veterinary Group are providing Veterinary Services 7 days a week to the Shelter. Three dedicated vets are working there Emily, Jo and Rudo, involved in examinations, operating and advice.  LINK -  www.woodgreen.org.uk
