What to expect from our emergency service

24 Hours - 365 Days A Year - LogoWhen you call our emergency service our team will talk to you about the emergency and advise whether your pet needs to come to our hospital for treatment immediately. They may also give you specific instructions of anything you can do to help your pet before reaching us.

Our emergency service operates outside of normal surgery opening hours and as such our doors are kept locked for security – when you arrive please press the intercom button next to the exit door and a member of our team will come to greet you. By phoning ahead, our team are aware of your pet’s emergency and are prepared for your arrival.

Our emergency service can be very busy and we must prioritise the most serious conditions. Please be aware, if our team are dealing with an urgent case at the time of your arrival, you may be asked to wait to be seen by the vet. Please rest assured our vet will be notified you have arrived and you will be seen as soon as possible.
